Fringe & Friends Knit-Along: Week 01
This fall I'll be participating in Karen Templer's Fringe and Friends Knit-Along as a panelist. The theme of the KAL this go round is top-down construction using Karen's Top-Down Tutorial. I've never knit a top down sweater before, I'm more of a traditional knit bottom up in pieces knitter, probably because it most closely resembles drafting sewing patterns.
I'll be knitting my FAFKAL sweater for Jon. I mentioned a few months ago that I'd knit him a sweater if he wanted one and he finally settled on a fisherman's rib raglan pullover so when Karen approached me about participating I thought it would be a perfect fit.
I'll be using O-Wool Balance in Talc which I'm very excited about and was generously provided to me for this KAL by Jocelyn. I picked the yarn and Jon picked the color, obviously I like the fact that he went with grey.
